I am Damla. I graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering in a 2020. I would like to mention about my career and how the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association has contributed to it. With the reference of one of the professors in the Department, I started my career as a software developer in a software company when I was a 3rd year student at the University. After 6 months, I continued to work in the same company as a project manager. With this experience, I have observed that a computer engineer may have various positions in a job in addition to being a software developer. After the 1.5 years of experience in the analysis part of the software lifecycle, I have been a test engineer in a defense industry company for about 8 months. I hope that my career path, in which I go beyond the stereotypes by taking the advantage of the opportunities that life offers me to gain different experiences, will shed some light for others planning their careers.
